Evangelistic meetings were conducted at Pimpalner, a village which is sixty kilometres
from Navapur, Maharashtra. Currently there is a Church that has been established nearly
10 years ago. This Church does not have many Adventists as there was no proper follow
up after its establishment. This is the first time that Evangelistic meetings were conducted
in this village. The meetings were conducted from May 28 – 31, 2025 by Sachin Gawai the
Marathi Radio Speaker / Producer at Adventist Media Centre, Pune. These meetings were
part of Impact 2025. The Theme of these Evangelistic Meetings was “The Heart of
Christian Living”. Every night there were around 170 people who attended these meetings.
The Local Conference deputed a Pastor, who is also the area Leader to help me conduct
these meetings.
On Wednesday evening the topic that was addressed was the story of the daughter of
Jarius and the lady from the Bible who had a blood issue for 12 years. People on hearing
these stories were impressed by how faith was at work if we only believe. On Thursday
evening the topic was about Mary Magdalene. On Friday the topic was about the
Centurion and the Canaanite woman. The congregation listened very keenly and were
willing to accept this truth from these incidents from the Bible. This was the first time that
the congregation heard these truths. On Sabbath the topic that was addressed was
“Witnessing for God”. As there were practical incidents and stories from the Bible that
were told the people understood and accepted the truth. As a result 5 people took their
stand for God and were baptised. It was also a wonderful opportunity to share about AWR
radio programmes, like the Radio broadcasts and podcasts to the congregation. It was a
great blessing and privilege for me. I want to thank God and the AMC Director, Pr. Laban
Rao for guiding and giving me this opportunity.
