“Form members returning back”
Evangelistic meetings were conducted at Kawan, a village which is thirty-five
kilometres from Amritsar, Punjab. There is an SDA Church in this village. The
meetings were conducted on May 27 – 31, 2025 by Manga Masih, Punjabi Radio
Speaker / Producer at Adventist Media Centre, Pune. This program was part of
Impact 2025. The Theme of the Evangelistic Meetings was “Strange Love”. There
were about 170 people present during the days of the week and about 200 people
for Sabbath Services. The people who attended were mostly from Kawan,
Haithampura, Sangda, Lopoke and Baggekalam.
During the week nearly 40 homes were visited. Prayers were offered for the
families and in some homes, there were sick people who requested for special
Prayers. Due to some problems in the Church some families left and went away.
After praying for them four families returned to the SDA Church. Some of the
topics touched was about friendship and the Lord calling us to Him. This included
Repentance. The congregation acknowledged and were willing to follow. On
Sabbath the topic that was addressed was “Call unto me”. There were 8 people who
took their stand for Jesus, 4 of them for the first time and 4 were rebaptised. There
are another 5 people who will be baptised for Sangda shortly. Everyone was very
happy and were richly blessed by these meetings. Also, it was a wonderful
opportunity to share about AWR radio programmes, like the Radio broadcasts and
podcasts to the members. It was a great blessing and privilege for me. I want to
thank God and the AMC Director, Pr. Laban Rao for guiding and giving me this
opportunity.
