“Joint effort by AWR, AMC & WIU”
Evangelistic meetings were conducted in Chikli, a village which is twenty kilometres from
Navapur, Maharashtra. There is an SDA Church in this village. The meetings were
conducted from February 10 – 13, 2025. by the joint effort of AWR, AMC, WIU & CMC.
From AMC, the Director, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi and Telugu Radio Speakers /
Producers were instrumental along with WIU Officers and Pastors to conduct these
meetings. This program was part of Impact 2025. The Theme of the Evangelistic Meetings
was “Hope for Maharashtra”. On the first day around 600 people attended on the second
day there were about 700 people and on the last day there were around 1500 people. The
people who attended were from more than 25 villages and were non-Adventists.
During the week homes in nearly 40 villages were visited by the Radio Speakers and
the Pastors. Some of the villages were Lakkadkot, Maszdi, Pimpalner, Borpada, Anjani,
Devlipada, Chikli and Navapur. People welcomed them into their humble homes and
Prayers were offered for the families and in some cases, there were sick people who
requested for special Prayers. Every evening lively songs were sung and conducted by the
Radio Speakers and later inspiring messages were delivered by Pr. Laban Rao. Quite a few
people expressed their appreciation for what was done. They understood about the true God.
As a result, 5 precious souls took their stand for the Lord and were baptised. It was a great
experience for all of us. Also, it was a wonderful opportunity to share about AWR radio
programmes, like the Radio broadcasts and podcasts to the congregation. It was a great
blessing and privilege for all of us and thank God and the AMC Director, Pr. Laban Rao for
guiding and giving us this opportunity.
